Responsibilities\nReview contract requirements, M&E specifications, and construction drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and construction schedules.\n\nLiaise with the main contractor, design consultants, and relevant stakeholders to clarify design intent and resolve technical issues.\n\nCoordinate with the main contractor's architectural and structural teams to identify and resolve design discrepancies and site clashes.\n\nPrepare and submit material samples, technical submissions, and shop drawings for approval.\n\nAttend and lead M&E coordination meetings with the main contractor, consultants, and other trades to resolve site coordination issues.\n\nPrepare M&E coordination and installation drawings, ensuring timely submission and approval.\n\nCoordinate with site supervisors and installation teams to ensure M&E works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.\n\nPrepare, assess, and submit progress claims, variation claims, and supporting documents to the main contractor.\n\nCoordinate with site personnel on the installation, operation, and maintenance of temporary site utility services.\n\nMonitor site progress, workmanship, and material usage to ensure quality standards and minimise rework.\n\nIdentify site issues, propose practical solutions, and coordinate rectification works to ensure timely project completion.\n\nKey Competencies / Value-Add\nStrong site coordination and problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving M&E installation and technical issues.\n\nGood knowledge of relevant codes of practice, statutory requirements, and M&E installation standards.\n\nAbility to interpret technical drawings and coordinate M&E works to meet project specifications and authority requirements.\n\nUnderstanding of BIM concepts and their application in design coordination and clash detection.\n\nFamiliarity with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) concepts and their application in project coordination and execution.\n\nJob Requirements\nDegree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised institution.\n\nMinimum 3 years of M&E services experience in building construction projects, preferably with an M&E subcontractor.\n\nGood understanding of M&E installation, construction drawings, contract requirements, and technical specifications.\n\nFamiliarity with BIM software, design coordination, and clash detection processes.\n\nAbility to coordinate with the main contractor, consultants, suppliers, and site teams to resolve technical and installation issues.\n\nStrong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.\n\nSkills\nQuality Standards, Communication, Trade Show Coordination, Supplier
