Youll work alongside dedicated skilled and collaborative teammates.\nYoull play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our mainline signaling systems by performing warranty and maintenance activities (both preventive and corrective) at Cairo Metro. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such as Operations Quality Assurance and Supply Chain) interface with clients to respond to corrective maintenance requests record all failure incidents and report on a weekly basis manage the repair of defective system parts through Alstoms standard repair process and much more.\nYoull specifically take care of managing the repair process of defective system parts but also addressing emergency failures to ensure minimal disruption to operations.\nWell look to you for:\nManaging the repair process of defective ATC system parts in accordance with Alstom standards\n\nInterfacing with clients to address and resolve corrective maintenance requests\n\nRecording all failure incidents and compiling comprehensive weekly reports\n\nSupporting punch list closure\n\nResponding promptly to emergency failures to ensure minimal disruption to operations\n\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system performance\n\nEnsuring compliance with safety and quality standards\n\nAll about you\nWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead weve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:\nBachelors degree in Mechanical Electronics or Railway Engineering (Mechatronics is preferred)\n\n13 years of experience in a related field\n\nExperience with ATC/signaling systems in rail or metro environments (preferred)\n\nKnowledge of rail signaling principles interlockings train protection systems and communications\n\nGood knowledge of embedded systems and basic programming concepts\n\nFamiliarity with control systems electrical circuits and mechatronic systems\n\nProficiency in using new technologies and engineering tools\n\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications\n\nUnderstanding of IP addressing basic networking concepts and data communications\n\nWillingness to work rotating shifts based on operational needs\n\nFlexibility and mobility with availability for short- or long-term missions in different locations and countries\n\nValid driving license\n\nStrong communication and teamwork skills\n\nHigh attention to detail and a strong safety mindset\n\nResilience and an analytical mindset to solve complex system failures\n\nCustomer satisfaction and results-oriented approach\n\nThings youll enjoy\nJoin us on a life-long transformative journey the rail industry is here to stay so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
