Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.\n\nMAIN RESPONSABILITIES\n\nTo manage the commodity / supplier strategy to fulfill the requirement of Transport global supplier panel and development roadmap\nSupplier development: start & raise business with already homologated & identified suppliers\nScouting New Suppliers + Regional Marketing Investigation.\nFollow Sourcing standard process with using the relevant methods and tools.\nRFQ Management: from RFQ release to Business Award, Contract Sign, through Project Execution till Warranty Expiration.\nEnsure Technical Clarification between Suppliers and Technical Expert during RFQ stage also ensures Product Development Technical Clarification during PO Execution Period.\nStrong Cost analysis ability(TCO) while tender phase\nContinuous improvement plan (QCD responsibility on orders placed in China)\nCoordination with stakeholders such as quality, project team to secure the overall sourcing plan\nWork with European Site buyer for LCC project, RFQ, PO, FAI, Mass production, Payment follow up\nCommunicate with Central CM weekly for projects follow up and new projects introduction \n\nMAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES\n\nEducational Requirements \n\nMandatory:\nBachelor’s Degree \n\nDesirable:\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering degree.. \n\nExperience\n\nMandatory:\nAbove 5 years’ experience of sourcing development for direct sourcing.\n\nDesirable:\nAbove 3 years experience of sourcing development of metal material or previous supplier development and management\n\nCompetencies & Skills\nGood negotiating skills, project management skills and supplier management skills\nMust have strong drive and initiative to continuously promoting global sourcing and cost improvement\nStrong problem-solving skills\nAbility to handle multiple deadlines in a changing environment with a sense of urgency\nGood English and Mandarin communication skill is a must.
