Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.\nJoin us as Control Engineer (Vehicle Architecture), and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in St-Bruno (QC), CA.\nPerform control engineering activities for one or several vehicle functions from architecture to detail specification, interface and Pure Principle Scheme.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAccountable for delivering the Train Control documentation (Requirement Specification and Architecture Description RSAD, Technical Purchase Specification TPS, Interface Control Document ICD).\nResponsible for :\nDefining and implementing the functional, performance, transverse and train level requirements of the system.\nIntegrating the system into the project\nDefining the Interface for the system.\nVerifying of the system (focus on train level and TCMS) including design reviews.\nChange and configuration management process for the system on train level.\nControl of changes after design changes including impact analysis.\nPlanning and follow up of all activities linked to the system.\nProviding inputs to engineering team, sourcing, suppliers\nREQUIRED PROFILE:\nBachelor's degree in engineering preferably automation, automated production, electrical or other relevant field\nMember of the OIQ (asset)\nMinimum 5 years of experience in the railway field or other related field (aerospace, automotive, bus...)\nUnderstanding of systems engineering processes\nKnowledge of network topologies and interfaces for serial, Ethernet, VB and other communication networks.\nKnowledge or experience in design and development using model-based development tools such as Matlab/Simulink, Control Build, etc.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ...), SharePoint, Teams, ...\nKnowledge of electrical and schematic design activity (asset)\nFunctional level of French and English\nGood communication skills\nBilingualism\nProficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset when working with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers.
