This role sits at the core of the project lifecycle, from BOM validation to Work Package financial control, procurement costing and risk mitigation strategies.\nYour future role\nYou are the interface with operations, particularly with the project supply manager, and your main responsibilities are to monitor the evolution of costs related to work packages (WPs), identify cost reduction opportunities, and report any cost overruns and productivity deterioration.\nYou have developed solid knowledge and skills in financial management of large-scale projects in the industrial sector. You have been involved in bidding processes and acted as a project controller/sourcing controller on long-term contracts; you are our ideal candidate.\nThis position, based at our St-Bruno site on the South Shore of Montreal, is a permanent full-time role (40 hours per week) - Ability to work in an international, multi-site, matrix organization. Hybrid work environment with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week.\nYou will be specifically responsible for\nOwn and validate Tender BOM, Engineering and Manufacturing BOM financials to support EAC, savings, and variance analysis.\nBridge budget, forecast, ROFO and actuals, line-by-line, identifying root causes and cost deviations. EAC reconciliation. Deep Actual analysis by wbs\nPartner with Project Procurement & Finance Managers to optimize material cost control\nMonitor cost evolution, inflation, indexation and QCD deviations.\nDrive KPIs, cost reductions, tender support, and risk mitigation plans\nBe the focal point for claims, material variances and SAP-GSI cost data integrity.\nProactively manage cost-to-complete, target tracking and cost gap closure.\nAll about you\nWe value passion and attitude as much as experience.
