You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.\nYou'll play a key role in designing and optimizing scalable DevOps architectures and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software applications. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (development, QA, operations), evaluate and recommend tools and technologies, lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and much more.\nYou’ll specifically take care of fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency across teams, but also ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based infrastructures.\nWe’ll look to you for:\nContributing to the elaboration of product/system specifications and architecture in collaboration with cross-functional teams.\n\nDefining software requirements, including functional, operational, interface, performance, safety, cybersecurity, and reliability constraints.\n\nEnsuring traceability of software requirements throughout the development cycle.\n\nDesigning and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for automated build, test, and deployment.\n\nArchitecting and managing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nDeveloping and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.\n\nCollaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline delivery processes.\n\nMentoring developers and providing technical leadership within the team.\n\nImplementing and managing monitoring and observability solutions using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.\n\nEnsuring security measures, identity management, and compliance controls are implemented effectively.\n\nDriving best practices for DevOps, automation, and cloud infrastructure.\n\nContributing to continuous improvement by leveraging Return of Experience (RoE) and process enhancements.\n\nAll about you\nWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:\nBachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.\n\n12+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on DevOps and CI/CD practices.\n\nProficiency in multiple programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C, Java, Go, Bash, PowerShell).\n\nExtensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) and version control systems (e.g., Git).\n\nStrong knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.\n\nIn-depth understanding of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).\n\nExperience with automation frameworks and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).\n\nKnowledge of communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, NTP).\n\nFamiliarity with software development methodologies and lifecycle, including Agile practices.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\nCertification in DevOps or relevant architecture frameworks (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus.\n\nUnderstanding of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).\n\nKnowledge of the railway domain, particularly in signalling, power supply, or system engineering, is a bonus.\n\nThings you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey - the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
