ORGANIZATION\n\nMAIN OFFICE LOCATION:\n\n Located in Nigel (Ekurhuleni) at the production site.\n\nMAIN NETWORK:\n\nExternal Suppliers\n\n Planning & Logistics Teams, Production, Sourcing, Quality, SDPM (Supplier Delivery Performance Manager)\n\n PrSCL (Project Supply Chain Leader) / PrIdM (Project Industrialization Manager), Engineering & Industrialization\n\n Finance, Material Planning & SRM Central Team and Internal Suppliers (other Alstom Sites)\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES\n\nMISSIONS\n\n Express delivery needs to Suppliers\n\n Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for Alstom projects\n\n Monitor Supplier's performances KPI's\n\n Participate/lead to Supplier's performances improvement (animation)\n\n Contribute with SC inputs for supplier selection\n\nTASKS\n\n Internal suppliers: Manage Purchase Requisition flow up to Material Planning documents\n\n External suppliers: Follow up with Sourcing the Purchase Requisition level maturity for launching Material Planning documents\n\n Ensure and update the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints)\n\n Create the Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) & respective Source List\n\n Communicate the Material Planning documents to Suppliers and follow Suppliers confirmation\n\n Analyze Suppliers confirmations vs. Alstom needs and evaluate the risk/impact anticipation on production/projects\n\n Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions\n\n Maintain a routine with Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries\n\n Analyze and manage MRP exception messages and anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand).\n\n Maintain delivery dates in ERP\n\n Track missing parts until stock availability\n\n Ensure non-conformities replacement\n\n Resolve Receiving issues (overstock, shortage, damage, documentation, etc.)\n\n Analyze and share deliveries performances KPI's with different stakeholders (Internal & External)\n\n Collaborate with Material Planning Management/SDPM to validate worst Suppliers and define appropriate action plan (adapted governance: LSCA, LCA, etc...)\n\n Apply appropriate communication routine with Suppliers based on their delivery performances\n\n Drive and follow (when involved) Supplier Capacity Assessment\n\n Drive and follow (when involved) Supplier's Light Capability Assessment (LSCA)\n\n Contribute to new business risk assessments and mitigation action plan\n\nGENERAL SCOPE\n\n Apply APSYS roadmap and standards\n\n Respect Alstom EHS policy\n\n Participate to EHS improvement and targets achievement\n\n Respect Alstom Ethics & Compliance codes\n\nEDUCATION\n\n National Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain\n\n ERP: SAP\n\n Experience with MS Office tools\n\nEXPERIENCE\n\n Excellent communication.\n\n 5 years material/production planning experience.\n\n Advanced knowledge of Supply chain processes especially in warehouse & material flows\n\n Sound material/production planning experience in an industrial/manufacturing.\n\n Strong industrial background, with experience in Management: Production/ Supply Chain/ Quality/ Industrialization/ Methods Engineering.\n\n Experience in Supplier relationship and management (Qualification of suppliers, Project development, Serial Life Management, Problem Solving).\n\n Experience in Automotive, Aeronautics or Rail companies desirable, with exposure to manufacturing.\n\nTECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES\n\n Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills\n\n Commercial and financial awareness, with a full understanding of the impact of failure with regards to business costs, production targets and fulfilment of customer orders\n\n Results orientated and organised with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines\n\n Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills\n\n Project management skills\n\n Excellent attention to detail skills\n\n Strong negotiation skills & leadership\n\n Active team player, deadline driven, process driven\n\n Good communicator with the ability to
