You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking teammates.\nYou'll play a pivotal role in reducing the carbon footprint of Canada's busiest public transit system and contribute to the On-Corridor Works project, which is transforming collective mobility in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Legal, Sub-System Managers (SSMs), and Procurement Platform Directors, to define strategies, ensure quality, and manage sourcing activities, and much more.\nYou’ll specifically take care of defining and implementing the Project Procurement Strategy and ensuring QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments are met, but also coordinate sourcing activities and manage risks and cost performance.\nWe’ll look to you for:\nDefining and implementing the Project Procurement Strategy in alignment with QCD commitments.\n\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement strategies are shared, understood, and applied.\n\nManaging buyers and procurement teams to ensure their contributions align with project goals.\n\nCoordinating procurement launch meetings and monitoring supplier progress and challenges.\n\nEnsuring project-specific legal requirements are applied and adhered to.\n\nBuilding and consolidating Material Work Packages, including cost, risk, and improvement plans.\n\nAll about you\nWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:\nMaster’s degree in purchasing, engineering, project management, or equivalent.\n\n10+ years of experience in project, sourcing, engineering, or quality roles.\n\nStrong knowledge of electrification or infrastructure procurement activities, including power supply, overhead catenary systems, and subcontracted procurement packages.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a matrix environment.\n\nStrong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.\n\nAbility to challenge the status quo and drive results.\n\nRigorous, structured, and detail-oriented approach to work.\n\nAn international mindset and fluency in English.\n\nOffice Presence : This role requires an on-site presence of four (4) days per week.
