This is a key support function for manufacturing.\n\nORGANISATION\n\nOrganization structure (job belongs to.)\nSupply Chain Department\n\nReports directly to:\nIndustrial planning manager (SC-PL-10) à2 product lines Rolling Stock & Components (RSC) / Digital & Integrated System (D&IS)\nThis report is only if Industrial Planning Management report to Supply Chain\nIf not, SPC remain under Logistic\n\nOther reporting to:\nN/A\nDirect reports:\nN/A\n\nNetwork & Links\n\nInternal\nManufacturing and testing Dept\nIndustrial Planning\nindustrialization \nSupply Chain : Project Supply Chain Leader (PrSCL), Material management team, Project Material Manager for D&IS\nQuality\nLogistic (warehouse & internal transport manager)\n\nExternal\nSuppliers or logistic providers in case of JIT (Just in Time) call off\n\nMAIN RESPONSABILITIES\n\nKey accountabilities:\n\nThe Serial Production Controller is in charge of launching, coordinating and controlling the progress of Work Orders according to the MPS (Manufacturing planning & scheduling) \nFor Compo/ D&IS (Components/Digital & Integrated Systems), the Serial Production Controller is in charge of scheduling Work Orders according to the MPS \nThe Serial Production Controller makes the link between industrial planning, PrSCL (Project Supply Chain Leader)/ PMM (Project Material Manager) for D&IS, logistics and manufacturing to ensure on time execution of operations\nOn a weekly basis, provide feedback to planning to update the MPS, regarding operational constraints\nOn a daily basis, coordinate with logistic, Material planning and quality to allow the manufacturing team to produce as per the plan\nDefining and implementing improvement action plans for dysfunctions on components delivered to the production Line\nEnsure a continuous flow of materials to production line\nCheck plan orders readiness to ensure work orders can be launch on time and analyze exception messages of the MRP (Material Requirements Planning)\nFor (Compo / D&IS) schedule, when it’s relevant, work orders \nConvert Planned Orders (MPS) into Work Orders and launch them on time in production\nFollow-up daily the progress of Work Orders through close exchanges with EPU (Elementary Production Unit)/Line managers \nEnsure that priorities as planned in the MPS are clearly displayed and updated at shop floor level (visual management)\nContribute to data accuracy check related to BOM (Bill Of Material)/Routings in collaboration with Industrialization\nAlert the planning team/supply chain manager about issues impacting plan execution (missing parts, quality issues, production stoppage, technical data) \nManage the information workflow of work orders: job release, material consumption\nProvide the line-feeding priorities visibility to the logistics team in order to secure the production\nContribute to ensure material deliveries to the production line \nParticipate / represent Supply chain on production line 5’ meeting \nFollow-up subcontracted operations and ensure their execution on time in collaboration with logistics & production\nContribute to minimize the product throughput time and maintain optimum WIP (Working In Progress)\nRespect EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) rules and involved in SOV (Safety Observation Visits)\nPerformance measurements: Work Order launch on time\n\nMAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES\n\nEducational Requirements:\n\nMandatory:\nTechnician education degree (Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain)\n\nDesirable:\n\nExperience:\n\nMandatory:\nExperience in production scheduling/sequencing or operational supply chain with relevant usage of ERP (ideally SAP) in a manufacturing environment\n\nDesirable:\nKnowledgeable of industrial planning, logistics, inventory management, Material planning \n\nCompetencies & Skills:\nTechnical:\nGood knowledge of MRP and Production Scheduling tools\nGood knowledge of excel\nGood level of data analysis and reporting\nBasics on lean tools \nBehavioral:\nGood Communication and collaborative skills\nInnovative, pro-active and positive\nCustomer & goal oriented\nSense of urgency\nAutonomous\n\nYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
