You'll report to the Wayside Product Line Manager and work alongside experienced and motivated teammates within our signalling organization. As Product Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of wayside products and subsystems used in railway signalling and infrastructure solutions. You will act as the bridge between engineering, projects, industrialization, sourcing, and our internal customers to ensure that our products remain competitive, compliant, maintainable, and aligned with market needs.\nYou will define, deploy, and govern the product strategy and roadmap while driving lifecycle management activities throughout the entire product lifecycle, from introduction to phase-out. This is a business-oriented role with a strong technical dimension, focused on maximizing product value, ensuring long-term sustainability, and supporting Alstom's signalling growth strategy.\nWe'll look to you for:\nProduct Strategy & Roadmap\nDevelop and maintain the product roadmap for assigned wayside products and signalling solutions.\nDefine future product evolutions and investment priorities aligned with the signalling strategy.\nDrive lifecycle status management and product governance.\nEnsure alignment with customer, project, and business needs.\nLifecycle & Competitiveness Management\nManage product lifecycle activities from introduction to retirement.\nEstablish and maintain phase-in and phase-out strategies.\nDrive cost optimization and competitiveness improvement plans.\nLead obsolescence management activities and long-term sustainability planning.\nMonitor product total cost, product performance, and business value.\nCross-Functional Leadership\nCoordinate with engineering, validation, industrialization, sourcing, procurement, quality, and project teams.\nAct as the primary product owner for internal stakeholders.\nSupport tender and project organizations with product expertise and technical guidance.\nFacilitate prioritization and decision-making across multiple stakeholders.\nProduct Performance & Compliance\nMonitor product quality, reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety performance.\nEnsure compliance with railway standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives based on operational feedback and lessons learned.\nProduct Data & Configuration Management\nEnsure consistency and integrity of product documentation, requirements, and configuration data.\nSupport standardization and reuse across signalling product platforms.\nMaintain product baselines and change management processes.\nAll about you\nWe value passion and attitude over experience.
