You’ll work alongside strong analytical and collaborative teammates.\nYou'll develop and implement the Procurement strategy to ensure optimal cost productivity. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as Engineering, Project, Bid, and Technical Managers, to prepare tender Procurement commitments, and much more.\nYou’ll specifically take care of collecting and formalizing Return of Experience on projects deployed in the region, but also challenging commodity buyers and managers to increase competitiveness and ensure convergence of commodity strategies with tender.\nWe’ll look to you for:\nManaging procurement activities during the tender phase, ensuring adherence to Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (QCDP) commitments.\n\nLeading supplier engagement and negotiation of pre-bid agreements when they create a competitive advantage for the project.\n\nCollaborating with Engineering teams to support “Design-to-Cost” initiatives.\n\nCompiling, validating, and updating procurement cost commitments for tender submissions, including supplier quotation analysis, firming, and risk assessment.\n\nPreparing accurate, competitive, and timely tender cost packages, ensuring alignment with internal procurement strategies and market conditions.\n\nEnsuring compliance with company procurement policies, ethical sourcing practices, and contractual requirements during tender activities.\n\nCoordinating with Quality and Project Teams to confirm supplier readiness.\n\nSetting up the full supplier selection process, creating supplier contracts, and managing contract execution.\n\nPreparing and launching Requests for Quotation with suppliers.\n\nLeading project negotiations.\n\nMonitoring Procurement project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development).\n\nEnsuring work package sheet commitment respect.\n\nPreparing Business Awards.\n\nPromoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.\n\nManaging contracting activities and supplier contract execution while coordinating projects with all métiers.\n\nEnsuring on-time delivery and quality, especially during the ramp-up phase of the project.\n\nSupporting commodity strategy and consolidating commodity needs and inputs.\n\nParticipating actively in commodity strategy and panel elaboration.\n\nProviding inputs to build differentiation.\n\nSupporting the Commodity Manager during the tender phase.\n\nRepresenting the commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions.\n\nEnsuring effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem-solving.\n\nApplying the Alstom Procurement process and providing Return of Experience.\n\nAll about you\nWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:\nBachelor’s Degree in Purchasing or a related field.\n\nProven experience and understanding of procurement processes.\n\nPrevious Alstom experience will be considered an asset.\n\nStrong knowledge of electronics and N&T materials and equipment, SCADA, metallic parts, and electro-mechanical systems.\n\nFamiliarity with Excel.\n\nA second language is preferred.\n\nOffice Presence : This role requires an on-site presence of four (4) days per week.
