You’ll work alongside a collaborative and forward-thinking team of professionals.\nYou'll play a central role in ensuring the smooth delivery of materials and products for one of Canada’s largest public transit transformation projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Installation, and Project Managers), and ensure quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments are met, and much more.\nYou’ll specifically take care of project-specific product deliveries and material management, but also manage industrial processes and mitigate risks. You'll oversee and manage a team of Project Material Managers.\nWe’ll look to you for:\nLeading and coordinating Supply Chain activities across the project portfolio\n\nEnsuring alignment between project requirements and Supply Chain execution from tender/project start through delivery and close-out\nSet up & Synchronize Supply Chain processes vs Industrial requirements\n\nApply Signalling Project Industrial Review Process\nEnsuring alignment with procurement strategies and project objectives\n\nDriving project material demand ensuring timely material and product delivery\n\nManaging Quality, Cost, Deliverable commitments across teams and stakeholders\nPreparing and following up on the supply chain budget\n\nDeploying supply chain strategy on-site using standard processes\n\nAnimating performance KPIs to ensure operational excellence\n\nEnsuring employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies\n\nKey Missions\nEnsuring timely first material deliveries in alignment with Alstom standards\nRepresent Supply Chain in project governance and ensure clear visibility of SC status, priorities, risks and recovery actions\nEstablish and maintain the project-specific Supply Chain strategy, governance and management plan\nEnsure Supply Chain requirements and constraints are incorporated into project schedules, milestones and planning\nDrive project material demand and end-to-end retro-planning based on PBS/BOQ/BOM, engineering maturity, supplier lead times and installation needs\nEnsure timely identification and management of Long Lead Items, material risks, shortages and critical purchase orders\nCoordinate Project Supply Chain interfaces with Engineering, Procurement, Industrialization, Finance, Planning, Installation and participating Alstom units\nEnsure PMMs maintain appropriate visibility of project milestones, material requirements, commitments and risks\nDrive project Supply Chain QCD commitments and recovery plans where deviations occur\nCoordinate Supply Chain inputs during tender and project start-up, including material lead times, SC costs, industrial constraints, procurement strategy and delivery assumptions\nManage project inventory / Hard Inventory governance, including forecasting, WIP/finished material visibility, stock optimization and project close-out\nEnsure project BOM/PBS/BOQ information is available, complete and translated into the appropriate Supply Chain demand\nMonitor Supply Chain deliverables, KPIs, risks and action plans across all project bundles\nSupport customer and project reporting related to Supply Chain status and material delivery\nLead Supply Chain contribution to applicable APSYS, DFQ / Industrial Review and project governance requirements\nDevelop PMM capability, establish clear accountability and ensure consistent application of Alstom Supply Chain processes\nBuild strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution\nPromote awareness of Alstom supply chain processes and best practices\nIdentify and mitigate risks in supply chain operations\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives for supply chain efficiency\nCollaborate with Procurement for risk/impact management and supplier selection\nSupervise the availability on time of industrial requirements and related make or buy strategy\nDevelop team competencies and managing team performance through feedback and performance management cycles\nFrequent Travel to Kingston, ON \nAll about you\nWe value passion and attitude over experience. Master’s degree is an asset\n\n8-10+ years of experience in project material management, project supply chain management, industrial or related experience\n\nStrong understanding of project Supply Chain, material management, demand planning, procurement and logistics interfaces\nKnowledge of supply chain strategy deployment, Lean Manufacturing principles, QCD (Quality Cost Delivery) and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices\n\nStrong understanding of project schedules P6, milestones and material retro-planning\nPrevious direct team/people management experience\n\nExperience working with ERP solutions (SAP preferred), data quality management, and inventory processes\n\nAbility to manage budgets and financial reconciliations effectively\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and risk-management capability\nKnowledge of product/system technical requirements and project management practices\n\nRailway experience in signaling products or projects is preferred\nStrong communication and organizational skills\n\nA proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement\n\nThings you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey - the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
