Alstom’s scope for the project is to support the operator and maintainer by providing technical support and spare parts for the rolling stock and signaling activities focusing mainly on level 4 maintenance activities.\nAs a TSSSA Rolling Stock Engineer on the REM project, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to the maintainer for the Bogie, Traction, Braking, and TCMS systems, ensure the long-term sustainability of these systems throughout their lifecycle, and apply the various engineering processes associated with these systems.\nYou are a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and have developed strong knowledge and skills in systems engineering requirements management within the railway or transportation sector. You also have relevant experience in vehicle maintenance (bogies, traction, air systems, and brakes). If so, you may be the ideal candidate for this position.\nThis position is based at the REM site in Brossard on Montreal’s South Shore (preferred location) or at the Saint-Eustache site on Montreal’s North Shore. It is a full-time permanent position (40 hours/week). The schedule is Monday to Friday, with a minimum of four days per week on-site. Occasional travel between project sites is required. Please note that to meet operational needs, availability for technical support outside regular working hours may occasionally be required.\nMore Than a Job: A Mission\nProvide technical expertise and engineering support for Rolling Stock systems within the TSSSA maintenance scope, including Bogies, Traction, TCMS, Pneumatic and Brake systems.\nAnalyze fleet performance, reliability trends, and maintenance data to identify issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport configuration management activities, design changes, and engineering assessments for Alstom-maintained subsystems.\nLead technical investigations of failures and incidents, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions.\nSupport Level 4 maintenance activities, overhaul programs, and repair-loop optimization for critical fleet components.\nDevelop and optimize maintenance plans, troubleshooting procedures, and work instructions to improve fleet availability and reliability.\nUtilize HealthHub and digital monitoring tools to support condition-based and predictive maintenance strategies.\nParticipate in KPI monitoring, technical reporting, and performance reviews of vehicle systems and components.\nSupport obsolescence management activities, component replacement evaluations, and lifecycle cost optimization initiatives.\nMaintain technical documentation, engineering records, and interfaces with maintenance management systems (MMIS).\nCollaborate with operations, maintenance, suppliers, and engineering stakeholders to resolve technical issues and enhance fleet performance.\nCe que vous apportez\n3+ years of experience in Railways system/Application engineering.
