You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.\nYou'll ensure the quality of ERP Roll-Out project deliveries, whether handled internally or delegated to external partners. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (ERP Technical Managers, SAP Dev Stream Leaders, and external partners), conduct technical design validations, and support continuous improvement efforts, and much more.\nYou’ll specifically take care of code reviews and technical documentation updates, but also troubleshooting and providing technical expertise to internal teams and partners.\nWe’ll look to you for:\nCreating or approving technical designs for ERP Roll-Out projects\n\nPerforming ABAP programming, testing, and debugging for SAP module implementations and enhancements\n\nEnsuring the quality and stability of deployed code\n\nControlling the quality of delivery from external partners in your area of expertise\n\nConducting regular ABAP code reviews before preproduction moves\n\nTroubleshooting ABAP code issues and providing Level 3 expertise\n\nPerforming POCs and feasibility analyses for the Core Team\n\nEnsuring Alstom’s best practices and development norms are followed\n\nUpdating and maintaining technical documentation\n\nProviding regular reporting to management and stakeholders\n\nAligning with other IS&T teams, internal stakeholders, and strategic partners\n\nAll about you\nWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field\n\n5+ years of relevant experience in ABAP development\n\nExperience in both Run and Project contexts\n\nKnowledge of PI, Solman, Fiori, and Hana concepts\n\nStrong skills in programming tools and techniques such as Report Transaction creation, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, SAPscript, SmartForms, and more\n\nHands-on experience in SAP Mobility (SUP/Syclo/NetWeaver Mobile) and OData Services using SAP NetWeaver Gateway\n\nGood knowledge of JavaScript and Form calc\n\nExperience with EDI, ALE, and IDOC\n\nClear communication and planning abilities\n\nStructured problem-solving methodology and critical thinking skills\n\nA willingness to learn and adapt\n\nThings you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey - the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
