As the Senior Project Contract Manager for Metrorex projects, you will be accountable for leading the development, implementation and driving proactive contract management and risk mitigation strategies, in alignment with Alstom’s business objectives. This includes managing extensions of time (EOTs), variation orders, and contract amendments. As a contract and claims management expert, you will ensure meticulous record-keeping and robust file preparation for the project.\nWe’ll look to you for:\nApplying the contract, claims and insurance management manual and Alstom governance.\nCollaborating with the core project team to prepare/update the Contract Management Strategy Plan.\nAnalyzing the contract to build and drive the implementation of the contract and claims management strategy plan and continuously updating it on an ongoing basis with the project team.\nMonitoring progress to ensure compliance with contract obligations, including tracking the project schedules to meet contractual milestones.\nIssuing contractual notices to customer and partners in a timely manner.\nEstablishing and implementing project-specific commercial procedures, particularly regarding correspondence, notifications, insurance, variation requests/orders, and claims preparation.\nMonitoring and managing correspondence by analysing incoming and outgoing communications with customer and partners.\nDeveloping and producing project-specific processes and methods for contract/claim management.\nAll about you\nDegree in Law, Engineering, Business or Finance.\n10 years experience in contract and claims management in the delivery of railway, infrastructure or construction projects.\nOn hands experience with working with Public Procurement contracts in Romania and good knowledge of Public Procurement Law \nExcellent verbal and written skills in Romanian and English required.\nAbility to anticipate and manage conflicting priorities.\nStrong knowledge and experience with Contract Management and Project Management tools and systems.\nCapability to be operationally effective and accountable.\nThings you'll enjoy\nJoin us on a life-long transformative journey - the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
