You’ll work alongside collaborative, forward-thinking, and results-driven teammates.\nYou'll play a critical role in ensuring the effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks, savings, and opportunities within our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Core Teams, Scheduling, and Cost Control), facilitate workshops to gather inputs for risk analysis, and provide actionable insights through robust risk reporting and dashboards.\nYou’ll specifically take care of creating and maintaining the consolidated Risk and Opportunity Register, but also leading quantitative risk analyses to inform target pricing and schedule planning.\nWe’ll look to you for:\nEnsuring project members are trained in Risk Management through seminars and training courses\n\nSupporting project teams in identifying and assessing risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions\n\nLeading brainstorming sessions for risk, saving, and opportunity identification\n\nCollaborating with risk owners to define, implement, and monitor mitigation actions\n\nDeveloping scoring rationales for risks and opportunities, and integrating them into project schedules and budgets\n\nPerforming integrated quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses using Risk Management software\n\nDelivering clear, actionable risk reporting and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders\n\nMonitoring and reporting risk KPIs and ensuring quality standards are met\n\nAll about you\nWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:\nA Bachelor’s degree in Engineering\n\n5-7 years of experience in risk management\n\nExperience with Monte Carlo Risk Assessment tools\n\nProficiency in QCRA and QSRA for multi-million-dollar railway or infrastructure projects\n\nComprehensive understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and tools\n\nStrong analytical skills for risk and opportunity assessments\n\nProject management experience\n\nGood knowledge of railway products and systems\n\nExperience working with internal processes (Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, and their interfaces)\n\nExcellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills\n\nAACE Certified (DRMP)/PMI-RMP or IPMA-D, PMP certification is an asset\n\nOffice Presence : This role requires an on-site presence of four (4) days per week.
