Youll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.\nYoull play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality signalling hardware solutions that ensure safe and efficient railway systems. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such as V&V installation and testing & commissioning teams) support the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and much more.\nYoull specifically take care of designing hardware engineering drawings including cable plans and wiring diagrams but also contribute to analyzing requirements and managing design change requests.\nWell look to you for:\nPreparing and executing hardware and application engineering activities for bids projects and programs\nDelivering hardware design drawings including signaling equipment layouts cabinet and rack designs\nTaking ownership of assigned tasks and ensuring quality and timeliness\nPreparing Bill of Materials (BOM) including equipment codification and quantities\nOrganizing and producing documentation and hardware design deliverables\nAnalyzing and managing design change requests\nEnsuring the independence of design activities from verification activities\n\nAll about you\nWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead weve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:\nBachelors degree in Electrical Electronic or Control & Automation Engineering\nAt least 2 years of experience in engineering or technical functions within railway projects\nKnowledge of railway systems and signalling equipment\nProficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Visual Basic Applications for AutoCAD\nExperience in designing electrical diagrams such as scheme plans cable plans and cabinet configurations\nFluent in English with strong interpersonal skills\nSelf-motivated with a passion for technical matters and a quick learner\nTeam player with a collaborative mindset\nNo restrictions to travel\nHiring with local contract in Egypt\nYou dont need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
