Joining us means joining a truly global community of more than 75 000 people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact.\nSPQD Engineer (Supplier Product Quality Development) (M/F)\nYou want to boost your career in Quality & participate to solving real-world mobility challenges?\nJoin our Alstom CDS Interiors Team!\nLocation: Valenciennes\nWhat are my responsibilities?\nIn charge of CDS Interiors products validation and supplier’s processes capability vaidation for railway interiors parts to ensure new products/parts can be developped for future project and are compliant to industrial, functional, dimensional and visual requirements.\nIs accountable of the sub-system DFQ (Development for quality) cycle application for these new product/parts.\nIs in charge to manage waranty issue detected on on-goiing project in coordination of the projetct and site to ensure reactivity in managing the issue from caraterisation and curative action with site/project, defining solution with all CDS team and deploying solution wiht site/project\nResponsibilities\nA / Product Concept Validation\n Ensure the product quality robustness during concept & specification phase\nParticipate to design reviews to challenge engineering design about manufacturing feasibility \nEnsure product key characteristics are identified (dimensional, functional, visual) and ensure their consistency (thanks to industrial toolings)\nVerify the design is in line with pre-selected suppliers industrial capabilities \nEnsure product quality Return of Experience is considered during product development phase\nB / Supplier Product Industrial Development\n Perform product process validation (Go Production, at supplier site) which is authorizing supplier to launch production for 1st batch of parts\nValidate supplier manufacturing processes to ensure process repeatability\nSet-up industrial toolings with suppliers to enhance consistency of the assembly\nValidate special process application (Thermoforming, Fiber Reinforced Plastic processes, Bonding, Painting, Welding...)\nSecure readiness and conformity of sub-supplier components (Sheet metal work parts, welded parts, etc.)\nGuarantee right working environment and adequate manpower skills in the workshop\nAnalyze potential issues during supplier manufacturing and support to implement corrective actions to comply product quality requirements\n Perform product validation (First Article Inspection, at supplier site) which is validating conformity of 1st batch of production to deliver Alstom and start serial production until project completion\nEnsure parts manufactured for 1st production batch are compliant with specifications (dimensional, functional, visual) and approve 1st parts shipment from supplier to Alstom assembly site.\nValidate contractual documentations are delivered and approved according to customer requirements\nManage quality assurance for 1st deliveries of parts to Alstom site before handover with Supplier Quality Assurance department for serial production\nPlastic commodity specialistDefine and promote standard FRP & Thermoplastic solutions towards engineering team\nBe an active and recognized player of FRP & Thermoplastic commodity network\n\nC / Managing warranty issue\nEnsure problem solving process and warranty process are managed for issue detected on serail life of the project\nParticipate to analysis and curative actions defined by projects and sites \nEnsure solution are defined and proposed to site respecting reactivity target\nEnsure this solution are deployed on project/sited \nEnsure Return of Experience are defined and used on nex project to avoid recurrence\nWhat do I need to qualify for this job ?\n\n Knowledge & Experience :\n03 to 05 years’ experience in Production Management, Product Engineering or Industrial Engineering\nMechanical Engineering background with strong technical knowledge in plastic products and processes (FRP Infusion, LRTM, HLU, SMC, Thermoforming...) to ensure design feasibility and assess supplier manufacturing\nSpecial processes knowledge (Bonding, Welding, Painting)\nPractice of problem-solving methods (8D, QRQC …) and risk analysis methods (FMEA…)\nAble to work in an international and multi-sites organization\nTravel : 40% of the time, in France and abroad (Europe, Turkey, India, China...)\n Competencies & Skills :\nRigor and discipline, resilience\nLeadership, Reactivity\nCommunication skills\nFluent English mandatory (written and spoken) \nTeam Management : None\nAn agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
