He / She manages the team of Incoming Inspectors to ensure consistent, accurate and on-time completion of incoming inspection activities. He/she also manages the team of Serial SQ Engineers and SQPD to ensure reactive and comprehensive supplier non-conformity feedback, containment and corrective actions are implemented quickly to secure the supply of parts to the line.\nExperience in team management and supplier complex Problem solving, prefer to have experience in electronic component supplier management.\nMain Responsibilities: \nProject Supplier Quality activities:\nEnsure the delivery of project quality activities for purchased parts identified as critical. The activity goes from the early development phases of new products (knowledge of new parts to be integrated in Suppliers Parts List) until their FAI Go status and SQ Serial.\nEnsure SPQD engineer active participation to development gates review for purchased parts (Request For Quotation, Business Award, Order, Detail Design & Design Freeze) including the relevant documentation preparation.\nControl the application of the DFQ process for purchased parts and make each milestone validated by his/her team.\nDrive - Manage teams and suppliers to meet FAI Go on Time and project executions needs\n Incoming Inspection Management:\nCollaborate with SPQD and Incoming Inspectors to ensure Control Plans are defined and registered in the ERP system\nEnsure inspection instructions/ checklists are defined and available for Incoming Inspectors\nEnsure Incoming Inspectors comply with procedures for inspection, tool calibration, storage of records, Non-conformities characterization and ERP transactions.\nSupplier Nonconformity Management - Ensure site SQ Serial Team’s reactivity and efficiency to:\nSecure in a timely manner strong and complete supplier containment actions plan to secure the Manufacturing line\nEnsure complete and efficient Supplier’s root cause analysis and corrective actions to supplier’s Non-conformities\nEstablish supplier responsibility and assure the invoicing of Cost of Non-Quality to suppliers (CONQ)\nOrganize supplier retrofits and remedial actions, including storing of vendor work reports and validations\nEducational Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in quality, technical major or Engineering or equivalent. Electric background preferred.\nFamiliar with supplier qualifications standards (ISO, IRIS, Local Standards, etc.)\nEase with suppliers’ contracts, competence skills and budget management.\nExperience\nMore than 5 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality,\nQuality tools experienced (eg. problem solving/Risk management tools)\nManufacturing Processes knowledge\nExperience in managing electronic component suppliers(eg. PCBA, Contactor,Capacitor)\nKnowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…)\nExperience in supplier audits and First Article Inspection.\nCompetencies & Skills\nStrong leadership with communication and influencing skills\nTEAM MANAGEMENT\nFluent in English\nAbility to work in a matrix organization\nContinuous improvement mindset and customer oriented\nQuality Basics in Production at Suppliers\nPROBLEM SOLVING\nYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
