You’ll work alongside collaborative and proactive teammates.\nYou'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of train services by monitoring train performance and identifying potential mechanical issues before they affect on-time performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Control Supervisors, Outpost Technicians, and Train Operating Crews, to ensure smooth operations and timely communication, and much more.\nYou’ll specifically take care of monitoring locomotive, coach, DMU, and train service health using advanced health monitoring systems, but also implement recovery plans during service disruptions to minimize delays.\nYour Role, Your Impact\nMonitoring train performance using resources like Intellitrain, CDS, Witronix, and Metrolinx Network Operations Control Center\n\nIdentifying potential equipment issues in advance of dispatch and coordinating repairs\n\nProviding troubleshooting instructions to crews during service disruptions\n\nCollaborating with the Control Supervisor to ensure timely communication with GO Transit Operations\n\nMaintaining detailed logs and reports on train recovery and incident prevention\n\nStaying updated with crew operating instructions and notices\n\nWhat You Bring\nWe value passion and attitude over experience.
