This is a union position and will be part of Operating Engineers Local 324. \n\nThe Inventory Control Specialist provides both administrative and physical management of all inventories coming into the facility and manages all outgoing project material. The position will have dual accountability. Inventory accuracy and management deliverables will serve the procurement/accounting teams. \n\nThe primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: \nBecome proficient with the use of our inventory management process \nPerform receiving of all material into inventory and re-stock. \nProvide reports to purchasing of low inventory items to be re-ordered. \nOrganize and pull from stock \nMaintain inventory levels. \nManage all deliveries to building, front door and rear docks. \nManage outgoing shipments with project equipment and materials. \n\nPosition Requirements: \nMinimum High School or equivalent degree. Associates degree or technical certifications preferred. \nTwo to four years work experience demonstrating strong performance, reliability, and desire to learn. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills \nSound planning, organizing, and execution skills. \nComputer savvy, comfortable in MS Word and Excel with the ability to learn other programs (Pick Pro). \nTechnical aptitude for light assembly work. \nAbility to work independently with varying levels of supervision \nFork truck certification preferred.
