You handle configuration, automation, security and data quality, and you're the go-to expert on how Salesforce works at Alta. You report directly to the Corporate Director of Sales Operations, who sets priorities and the roadmap. You will work closely with a Salesforce Support Specialist, who will handle help desk tickets and routine user requests.\nAlta is moving about 450 sales and marketing users across two business units from a legacy CRM to Salesforce Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud Advanced, and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, with integrations to our ERP and manufacturer systems. You will join during the implementation, so you will help shape a new build that supports the full company, and then run it day to day after launch.\nThis is a remote position and will report to our Corporate Director of Sales Operations.\nWhat you'll do\nConfigure the platform: objects, fields, page layouts, record types, Lightning pages and picklists.\nBuild and maintain automation in Flow and validation rules, and keep all changes documented.\nMaintain Revenue Cloud Advanced: products, price books, quote templates and approvals. Update pricing and product rules as the business changes.\nOwn the security model: profiles, permission sets, roles and sharing rules.\nOwn data quality: duplicate and matching rules, data standards, and large or complex imports.\nMove every change through a sandbox and test it before it reaches Production, and document what changed.\nTest Salesforce's releases and flag what affects users.\nWatch for integration errors with ERP and manufacturer systems, and escalate them to our integration partner with the details they need.\nHandle complex tickets that the Support Specialist escalates to you.\nGather requirements for enhancement requests, estimate the effort, and build the approved ones.\nDuring implementation: learn the build alongside our implementation partner, take part in user acceptance testing, and take over administration at launch.\nRequired qualifications\n3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration, ideally in Sales Cloud.\nBuilt and maintained automation in Flow beyond simple field updates.\nManaged users, profiles, permission sets and sharing in a multi-team org.\nRan data imports and cleanup with Data Loader or similar tools, including deduplication.\nWorked with sandboxes and a release process before changes reach Production.\nWrites clear documentation that can be easily followed by non-technical users.\nSalesforce Administrator certification.\nPreferred qualifications\nIn order of value to Alta:\nRevenue Cloud Advanced or Salesforce CPQ experience.\nWorked through a Salesforce implementation or migration from the client side.\nIntegration troubleshooting with ERP or other external systems.\nExperience with Mulesoft.\nMarketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot).\nEquipment dealer, distribution or other multi-branch field sales experience.\nAdvanced Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.\nMentored a junior admin or support
