This position will be responsible for interacting with service customers, technicians, parts and service vendors and all levels of business management. They will be responsible for scheduling and confirming service appointments. The duties are as follows:\nAnswering internal and customer service calls\nWeekly payroll timecard entry\nOpening and closing work orders, including accurately recording story lines into each order\nResponsible for costing work orders at a rate of no less than 225 segments per month\nFollow up with other inter-company departments on open issues\nMonitor work in process (WIP)\nScheduling periodic maintenance for customer equipment\nScheduling transportation for any piece of equipment that needs to be moved to a branch and/or customer\nCross train with other admin staff to provide back-up in all positions\nResearch billing and invoicing questions and provide solutions\nIncorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nConsistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time\nQualifications:\nCustomer service experience is highly preferred.\nMust have strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous ERP experience is a plus.\nPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent time management skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of coworkers, as well as customers.\nLanguage Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.\nMathematical Skills - Basic: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.\nReasoning Ability - Basic: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.\nPhysical Demands/Work Environment:\nPhysical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use sit, use hands, talk/hear; Frequently will reach with hands; Occasionally will stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste/smell.\nVision: No special vision requirements.\nLift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 10 pounds; Frequently will lift up to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds\nWork Environment: Regularly will work near moving mechanical parts, exposed to fumes or airborne particles\nCompensation Range: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour. This range is regarding base pay only and does not include benefits and potential bonuses.
