ACRC employs approximately 900+ individuals working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.\nCOMPENSATION\nThe below is dependent upon experience and education.\nService Coordinator I: $24.80 - $28.69/hr.\n Service Coordinator II: $27.34 - $31.64/hr. (must possess 5 years of experience working in a Regional Center as a Service Coordinator)\n Service Coordinator IIIB: $29.10 - $33.68/hr. (must possess a master's degree and 1-year social work experience)\n Service Coordinator IIIA: $32.13 - $37.18/hr. (must a possess a master's degree and 2-years post-masters experience)\nNote: Master’s degrees in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Child Development, Special Education, Counseling, Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Sociology or closely related field.\nThe actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.\nTHE POSITION AND JOB SUMMARY\nACRC is seeking a Service Coordinator to provide case management and advocacy for persons with developmental disabilities. This position is currently located in the Roseville office. Typical duties include assisting clients and their families in acquiring and maintaining assessed supports and services including transportation, vocational training, day programming, education, mental health services, medical care, and independent living training; serving as an advocate for the client with community agencies; consulting with and assisting vendors with certifications, applications, and referrals; participation in the development of Individual Program Plans for clients; monitoring these plans and revising them as necessary; completing all required forms, documentation, and reports in accordance with regulations and ACRC policies and procedures; rotating officer-of-the-day duties with other Service Coordinators; assisting co-workers with special projects, unique problems, vacation, and sick relief; and providing emergency on-call services when required.\n PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nExtensive sitting at workstation, in meetings, and in vehicle (50%+ of time); Frequent standing and walking; Adequate manual dexterity and coordination to operate standard office equipment, such as computer, keyboard and mouse, copier, scanner, etc.; Hearing and vision corrected to normal range for operation of standard office equipment, transcription of documents and administration of electronic records; Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and stretching; Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. while moving paperwork, supplies, and other office materials; Ability to independently visit off site locations (i.e. client, group, residential and day programs, etc.); Occasional travel outside of catchment area of distances of 100+miles.\nSUMMARY OF OUTSTANDING BENEFITS\nACRC offers an excellent working environment and a benefits package to include:\n90% employer-paid health insurance plus low-cost dependent coverage including domestic partners\n100% employer-paid dental and vision insurance for employees plus dependents\n100% employer-paid employee life insurance coverage\n100% employer-paid long term disability coverage\nflexible benefits pre-tax spending program\nCalPERS employee pension plan; and 457 and 403-B voluntary tax shelter annuities.\n OTHER BENEFITS INCLUDE:\n17-22 annual vacation days\n12 annual sick days\n15 paid holidays\nLongevity leave\nEmployee Assistance Program, and many other generous benefits.\nMany of our employees participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program\nThis is intended to represent a general summary of benefit plans and coverages only.\nRequirements\n JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nApplicants must possess: a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field; demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills; and have strong time management and organization skills; and possess a valid California driver license and automobile liability insurance.
