This position will work with our full-time operations staff to provide added support, ensuring operational activities are conducted in a safe and effective manner.\nThis position will work with our full-time operations staff to provide added support, ensuring operational activities are conducted in a safe and effective manner.\nThe shift schedule for this facility is 7 days on, 7 days off, rotating night/day shift, 12 hours per day.\nYou will:\nTake Plant readings and perform equipment checks\nSafety equipment checks\nAssist Plant Operators in daily tasks such as locking out and purging equipment for maintenance, changing filters, and pigging pipelines.\nAssist with the safe work permitting for maintenance tasks.\nAssist with safe preparation and lockout of equipment for maintenance.\nYou have:\nGrade 12 education or equivalent\nMinimum 4th Class Power Engineering certificate or working towards it\nAbility to work under limited supervision\nA positive attitude and desire to learn\nFor Canadian hires: AltaGas hires personnel on the basis of job-related qualifications.
