At Altais, we support one another, adapt quickly, and work with integrity as we build a better experience for physicians and their patients.\nThe Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities. This position will serve as a trusted financial partner to operational and business leaders, providing meaningful financial insights to support strategic planning, operational performance, and informed decision making. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical capabilities with a solid understanding of accounting principles and cost allocation methodologies.\nYou will focus on:\nSupport the annual operating budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes in partnership with business and operational leaders.\nPrepare monthly financial reporting packages, including detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year.\nBuild and maintain financial models to support business cases and scenario planning.\nPartner with Accounting on month-end close and reconciliation of financial results.\nPartner with department leaders to understand business needs, evaluate financial performance, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.\nUnderstand and incorporate industry specific metrics into reports to highlight relevant trends and support fact-based business decisions.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate financial reporting and forecasting processes. \nSupport ad hoc analysis and presentations for executive leadership and the Board.\nThe Skills, Experience & Education You Bring\nBachelor’s degree or higher in finance, mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, or economics from an accredited program\n3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, financial planning and analysis, or a related finance role.\nExperience in the healthcare industry, preferably within a health plan, managed care organization, or medical group.\nExperience with cost allocations, cost accounting, expense distribution methodologies, or departmental cost analysis.\nDemonstrated understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.\nExperience analyzing financial performance, investigating variances, and communicating results to business leaders.\nProven experience using databases, Word and Access, PowerPoint required. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
