We’re excited to share that we are hiring a Summer Student to join Customer Service team.\nNOTE: The start date is May 2027, and the length of the term is 4 months.\nJob Description:\nReporting to the Manager, Customer Operations the Summer Student will provide support to the AltaLink Customer Operations Team.\nResponsibilities:\nPreparation of customer invoicing and other financial customer documents; \nPreparation and review of customer weekly reports;\nProvide administrative support to various areas in the department;\nSupport the delivery of service improvement initiatives;\nBusiness process development and analysis;\nGathering and analyzing data and making recommendations;\nProvide vacation coverage and special project responsibilities depending upon the projects which are assigned.\nAll candidates must demonstrate key behaviors and meet identified expectations outlined in our four cultural pillars - one team, continuous improvement, customer focus and personal accountability.\nRequirements\nQualifications:\nUniversity student who has completed at least 3 years of study towards a Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent program;\nMarketing and customer service experience is preferred; \nStrong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required;\nSharePoint administration experience will be considered an asset;\nKnowledge of Microsoft Power Platform tools will be considered a strong asset;\nProven ability/experience in the above noted responsibilities;\nEffective organizational and time management skills;\nStrong verbal and written communication skills;\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team;\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers to promote positive customer outcomes;\nProven track record of good attendance and job performance.\nNotes:\nCandidates chosen for face-to-face interviews will be asked to upload their unofficial transcripts along with their resume.\nInternal candidates can submit their resume internally via https://referrals.workable.com/altalink/jobs/\nExternal candidates can submit their application via Workable externally at AltaLink - Current Openings (workable.com).\nAltaLink employees should be aware that we may contact your manager during the selection process.
