A subject matter expert in billing, including oversight of staff working on open aging accounts. Oversees team follow-up processes on unpaid claims and resubmission of unpaid claim documents. Assists staff in the appeal process to resolve disputes in contested billing and initiate collection of patient co-payments, deductibles, and open balance amounts through telephone contact, letters, etc. Responsible for A/R trending and department resource allocation concerning the current need for revenue cycle management and revenue recovery.\nMinimum Requirements\nHigh school graduate or equivalent required.\n\nTrade/Technical School certification OR coursework towards BS/BA with a focus on Business preferred.\n\nA minimum of 6 years of billing and collections experience is required.\n\nA healthcare background is strongly preferred with an emphasis on Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.\n\nBilingual English/Spanish preferred.\n\nCompensation\n$26.91 - $33.53 hourlyCompensation Disclaimer\nActual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
