In terms of industry verticals, we are focused on EdTech, Fintech, eCommerce, and Pharma.\nAltamira Robotics is looking for an experienced electronics engineer to work on CAMMera, a project developing maritime surveillance and detection systems in support of NATO, the Black Sea, and Ukraine’s security. \nThe system combines sensors, computing modules, communications, and power subsystems designed for demanding marine conditions. We are looking for a hands-on engineer with solid practical experience who can independently understand unfamiliar equipment, diagnose faults, propose solutions, and make them work reliably. \nYour responsibilities \nDevelop, assemble, configure,and integrate CAMMera’s electronic and electromechanical subsystems. \nConnect and integrate sensors, computing modules, communications equipmentand control systems. \nWork on power systems, including batteries, voltage converters, load distribution, protectionand power consumption monitoring. \nBuild and test cable assemblies, connectionsand equipment installations. \nDiagnose faults, take measurementsand resolve issues involving power, signalsand componentinterfaces. \nPrepare equipment for moisture, salt exposure, temperature changesand vibration. \nParticipate in laboratory, fieldand sea trials, and improve the system based on test results. \nMaintain wiring diagrams, componentspecifications, assembly instructionsand test records. \nCollaborate with software developers, mechanical designersand other engineers. \nWhat we are looking for \nSubstantial hands-on experience developing, integrating, commissioningor repairing electronic equipment. \nA solid understanding of analogue and digital electronics, circuit diagramsand power system design. \nAbility to read schematics and technical documentation, select componentsand verify compatibility. \nConfident use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, laboratory power suppliesand soldering equipment. \nPractical skills in soldering, assembly, connector crimpingand troubleshooting. \nExperience with equipment interfaces and protocols such as UART, RS-232/485, CAN, Ethernet, I²C or SPI. \nIndependence and ownership: the ability to take a technical problem through toa tested solution. \nWillingness to work hands-on, travel and participatein field and sea trials. \nA relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience. \nAn advantage \nExperience with marine, industrial, roboticsor defenceequipment. \nExperience with microcontrollers, single-board computersand embedded Linux. \nIntegration of optical, thermal imaging, acousticor other sensors. \nKnowledge of networking, cellularand satellite communications. \nExperience with electromagnetic compatibility, sealingand environmental protection of electronics. \nTechnical English for documentation and communication with suppliers. \nWhat we offer \nWork on a real engineering project supportingNATO andUkraine’s defencecapabilities. \nInvolvement throughout the development cycle, from componentselectionand prototype assembly to sea trials. \nThe opportunity to influence technical decisions and take responsibility for individual subsystems. \nCollaboration with specialists in electronics, sensor systems, softwareand machine learning. \nWorking terms and compensation discussed individually, based on experience and responsibilities. \nHow to apply \nSend your CV and briefly describe 2-3 projects in which you personally developed, assembled, or commissioned equipment.
