The Advisor, Internal Communications will also be called upon to contribute to the modernization and implementation of internal communications platforms.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nDeveloping communications related to strategic announcements, program launches or special projects within the company.\nCreating compelling visuals and videos to support communication campaigns.\nMaintaining and updating the intranet site and digital signage platform to ensure information is engaging, accurate, relevant and timely.\nManaging and coordinating the quarterly employee newsletter.\nAssisting the Manager in composing, editing and proofreading communications submitted for review by various departments.\nBuilding a department content calendar; coordinating timing of various messages to align with company events or initiatives.\nTracking metrics across all internal channels to drive overall strategy and improvements.\nKeeping abreast of the latest trends in internal communications to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of current channels and platforms. \nContributing to the planning of virtual, in-person and hybrid events.\nEnsuring that all internal communications are executed in accordance with the company brand image.\nTranslating communications from French to English and English to French and/or coordinate with external translation services.\nWhat You Need To Succeed\nBachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related field.\nA minimum of 3 years of experience in communications ideally internal communications and/or employee engagement or similar areas.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English\nProficiency in MS365 (Teams, Teams Live Events, Stream, Forms, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)\nExperience managing a SharePoint portal (employee intranet)\nStrong creativeness and design skills - knowledge of graphic editing tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or others.)\nKnowledgeable in video editing software to support internal digital projects (iMovie or Movavi Video Suites, etc.)\nAbility to speak effectively before groups of internal clients or employees of the organization. \nPersonal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information.\nAbility to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.\nCapable of managing multiple conflicting priorities.\nMust be self-directed, motivated, and have a willingness to take the initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.\nResults-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.\nPositive and enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines.\n Will be required to be on site (Montreal, Laval or Dorval sites) approximately 20% of the time for events, video recordings and other requests as needed.\nAltasciences strives to provide a French working environment for its employees in Quebec. Fluency in English is an essential requirement for the position of Advisor, Internal Communications including, but not limited to, for the following reasons:\nThe requirement to have study protocols, designs and clinical research documents written and documented in English as required by industry regulatory agencies.\nThe employee communicates frequently with Altasciences employees across Canada and the United States.
