The Sample Management Coordinator will ensure tasks performed are conducted within compliance of study protocol, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nPlease Note: This is a part time/variable hour role. Therefore, health benefits are not offered. There is the potential to become a full time, regular employee as the opportunity and/or need arises.\n What You'll Do Here\nEnsure the confidentiality of clinical trial participants and sponsors is respected.\nMaintain and advocate a high level of customer service and quality within the department.\nReport procedural deviations to appropriate supervisory team members.\nUnderstand protocol driven timed study events and acceptable windows (protocol and/or SOP driven) for the timed events.\nPerform clinical trial activities which may include but not limited to, tube/aliquot preparation, sample handling/processing, sample inventory, and shipping.\nEnsure study specific sample management procedures are executed when handling biological samples.\nMaintain equipment used in sample management (i.e. freezers, refrigerators, centrifuges) and document accordingly.\nCoordinate with external vendors (i.e. shipment couriers, central lab).\nMaintain a continuous line of communication with clinical/study operations teams on sample management statuses.\nAct as a liaison to the clinical/study operations teams.\nAssist in the resolution of data queries.\nGenerate and distribute sample management reports.\nProactively communicate issues and/or problem resolutions to departmental supervisors and managers.\nComplete and/or maintain training as required per jobs needs.\nPerform general administrative tasks when required.\nWhat You'll Need to Succeed\nHigh School Diploma or GED required; college degree and related work experience preferred.\nGood Communication skills\nDetail oriented, well organized, customer service focused, able to work in fast-paced environment\nWhat We Offer\nThe pay range estimated for this position is $18.35 - $24.00 per hour.
