Sets up equipment for studies.\nRecords and enters raw study data into templates for use by Study Directors.\nOperates and maintains selected laboratory equipment. Ensures equipment is GLP compliant.\nMaintains general organization and cleanliness of work area, including; cleaning and disinfecting procedure rooms and preparation areas.\nProvides technical knowledge to training team in developing training manuals and guidelines.\nEnsure animals are housed in accordance with federal and established guidelines.\nEnsures study conduct as described in Protocol. (e.g., dosing, treatments, surgery schedule, necropsy schedule).\nDocuments study procedures and results in study notebooks in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) regulations (e.g., animal assignment records, anesthesia records, treatment sheets, study events summaries, euthanasia records, necropsy records).\nPerforms QC review study and facility data in a timely manner.\nCompletes daily research data (e.g., Protocols, schedules for projects).\nAssigns and oversees duties to personnel necessary to complete daily schedules.\nSchedules and assigns appropriate animal species for studies in consultation with the Study Scientist or Study Director. Schedules animal and procedure rooms, and surgery suites.\nReports information regarding clinical problems with the animals, data collection or equipment to project scientists.\nWhat You'll Need to Succeed\nBachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience\nLATG certification is preferred\nAbility to read and interpret technical documents and industry specific manuals.\nAbility to write advanced reports and correspondence.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nWell developed interpersonal skills are required.\nPersonal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information.\nAbility to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.\nCapable of managing multiple conflicting priorities.\nMust be self-directed, motivated, and have a willingness to take the initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.\nRelevant industry experience is a plus.\nWork Authorization & Sponsorship\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. All applicants must possess valid work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.\nWhat We Offer\nThe pay range estimated for this position is $31.00 - $35.00 per hour rates.
