  • Develop, review, update, and maintain SOPs to support laboratory operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and provide day-to-day guidance to Formulations Research Associates and laboratory personnel.
  • Manage the receipt, inventory, storage, retention, and disposition of test materials.
  • Support Dose Formulation Analysis (DFA) activities and ensure accurate documentation and sample tracking.
  • Collaborate with Study Directors and cross-functional teams to meet study timelines and client expectations.
  • Monitor laboratory supplies, equipment maintenance, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with GLP regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within the laboratory.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 2-3 years of hands-on formulations experience is required.
  • Experience working within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing dose formulations and managing test articles in support of regulated studies.
  • Experience training, mentoring, or leading laboratory personnel.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and updating SOPs and laboratory documentation.
  • Familiarity with laboratory start-up activities, process implementation, and workflow improvements is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of GLP regulations and regulated laboratory environments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • A pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
