You will work with a range of stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, develop effective data solutions and improve the visibility and quality of key information across the programme.\nLocation: Belfast\nOn Site: Onsite\nClearance: Clearable\nExperience Level: Mid Level\nKey Responsibilities:\nGather, analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.\nDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards and performance indicators that provide stakeholders with clear visibility of business and operational performance.\nWork closely with internal teams to understand their data requirements and translate these into effective analytical solutions.\nClean, validate and structure datasets to ensure information is accurate, complete and reliable.\nMonitor key performance measures and investigate areas where results differ from expected targets.\nPresent complex data in a clear and accessible format, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve and automate existing reporting and data-analysis processes.\nSupport the development of KPI frameworks and performance reporting across different business functions.\nPerform detailed analysis to understand the root causes behind performance issues and provide actionable insights.\nCollaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting consistency and data visibility.\nProduce regular and ad-hoc analysis in response to programme and business requirements.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by using data to identify inefficiencies and measure the impact of improvement actions.\n Required Skills:\nPrevious professional experience working as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar.within Aerospace \nStrong experience working with large and complex datasets.\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, formulas, PivotTables and analytical functions.\nStrong experience using Power BI to develop dashboards, reports and data visualisations.\nExperience using SQL to extract, manipulate and analyse data.\nStrong understanding of data cleansing, validation and data-quality principles.\nExperience creating and monitoring KPIs and performance metrics.\nAbility to translate raw data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail.\nConfidence working with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate analytical findings.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate analysis within agreed deadlines.\nRequired Qualifications:\nA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.\nDesirable Skills:\nPrevious experience within aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or another complex industrial environment.\nKnowledge of Power Query and DAX.\nExperience automating or streamlining recurring reporting activities.\nExposure to Python for data analysis would be advantageous.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing, supply chain, quality or operational performance data.\nExperience producing reports for senior stakeholders and programme leadership.\nKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and using data to support process\n Why join us?\nWe bring together entrepreneurial, tech-driven people to deliver innovative solutions for leading companies.\nAt ALTEN, you’ll work on exciting projects, supported by ongoing learning, mentoring, and clear career development tailored to your goals.\nJoin a passionate team and help build tomorrow, today.\nIn short you get:\nA personalised career path and a rewarding management style \nA huge diversity of engineering projects and industries\nPrivate Medical Insurance\nCycle & Tech Scheme \nEmployee assistance programme\nLife insurance & Pension Scheme\nSocial atmosphere, regular gatherings & team buildings\nFlexible way of working (role dependent)\nWe are proud to support the Armed Forces Covenant & actively encourage applications from members of the Armed Forces community, including veterans, reservists, service leavers, and military spouses/partners.
