The successful candidate will act as the key focal point for extracting, analysing, and maintaining operational, production, and quality data from multiple business systems. This role will provide valuable insights to support supplier reviews, drive issue resolution, and improve overall supplier performance.\nWorking closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supplier Management teams, you will ensure accurate data is available to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.\nLocation: Belfast\nOn Site: Onsite\nClearance: Clearable\nExperience Level: Mid Level\nKey Responsibilities:\nExtract, analyse, and consolidate data from multiple business systems to support supplier surveillance and performance activities.\nProduce reports and dashboards on supplier performance, delivery, quality, production impact, stock levels, and operational metrics.\nSupport supplier reviews and business performance meetings by providing accurate and timely data analysis.\nMonitor key supplier-related activities, including quality notifications, qualification status, and corrective action progress.\nTrack and report on production impacts, inventory levels, purchase orders, supplier confirmations, and material availability.\nInvestigate data discrepancies and ensure data accuracy across systems and reporting tools.\nUpdate and maintain supplier-related records and operational data within business systems.\nCollaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supplier Management teams to identify and resolve supplier-related issues.\nSupport the implementation and tracking of corrective actions, including 8D investigations and recovery plans.\nProvide insights and recommendations to help improve supplier performance and operational efficiency.\nEnsure reporting requirements are delivered accurately and within agreed timescales.\n Required Skills:\nExperience in data analysis, supply chain, procurement, quality, manufacturing, or supplier management environments.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.\nExperience producing reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience working with ERP systems, databases, or operational reporting tools.\nStrong problem-solving and organisational skills.\nRequired Qualifications:\nA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.\nDesirable Skills:\nExperience within aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, automotive, or other complex industrial environments.\nKnowledge of supplier performance management and supplier surveillance activities.\nFamiliarity with quality management processes, non-conformance management, and corrective action methodologies (e.g., 8D).\nExperience working with ERP systems and quality management tools.\nKnowledge of supply chain, procurement, inventory management, or production planning processes.\nExperience using Power BI or other data visualisation and reporting tools.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing operations and supplier qualification processes.\nContinuous improvement experience, including Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.\n Why join us?\nWe bring together entrepreneurial, tech-driven people to deliver innovative solutions for leading companies.\nAt ALTEN, you’ll work on exciting projects, supported by ongoing learning, mentoring, and clear career development tailored to your goals.\nJoin a passionate team and help build tomorrow, today.\nIn short you get:\nA personalised career path and a rewarding management style \nA huge diversity of engineering projects and industries\nPrivate Medical Insurance\nCycle & Tech Scheme \nEmployee assistance programme\nLife insurance & Pension Scheme\nSocial atmosphere, regular gatherings & team buildings\nFlexible way of working (role dependent)\nWe are proud to support the Armed Forces Covenant & actively encourage applications from members of the Armed Forces community, including veterans, reservists, service leavers, and military spouses/partners.
