In this role, you will apply your application knowledge and business process experience to test and verify the functionality and performance of large-scale SCADA systems. Your work will ensure that our solutions meet the highest quality standards and are delivered according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), on time, within budget, and with excellence.\nYour Main Responsibilities\nRun test scenarios and system tests to ensure quality before release.\nWrite and maintain test scenarios to verify that all requirements are fulfilled.\nCollaborate with developers, product owners, projects, and customers to deliver high-quality IS solutions/services.\nAssess functionality and tests for automation opportunities.\nParticipate in defining test strategies and test plans.\nVerify bug fixes and support continuous quality improvements.\nSupport colleagues and contribute to a strong quality culture.\nTest large-scale SCADA systems, including front-end applications and backend servers.\nYour Profile\nWe are looking for a curious, solution-oriented, and meticulous individual with a passion for quality and a drive to challenge yourself. You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate complex topics clearly, and take pride in delivering high-quality results.\nQualifications and Experience:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n3–5 years of work experience in software testing, preferably in large and complex systems such as SCADA.\nMandatory SCADA knowledge and experience.\nHands-on experience with designing and maintaining system test scenarios.\nFamiliarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.\nExperience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum.\nKnowledge of test methodologies, strategies, and system testing.\nExperience with functional, performance, security, and automation testing for SCADA.\nKnowledge of Linux operating systems and network protocols.\nISTQB certification or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.\nFluency in English (written and spoken)\nABOUT ALTEN\nALTEN is one of Europe’s largest technology and IT consulting companies, with over 57,000 employees across approximately 30 countries.
