you’ll do\nUse Databricks (or a similar cloud-based data platform) to access, analyse, and prepare data sets to support technology, audit, and control activities.\n\nExtract, transform, and manipulate data using SQL and/or Python, primarily from relational databases, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and repeatability.\n\nMaintain and enhance existing queries/ scripts, and design custom queries and data scripts to meet new requirements and timelines.\n\nProduce structured, audit-ready data inputs for auditors and control owners, including clear explanations of logic, filters, and assumptions.\n\nBuild and/or support data visualisations and management information using tools such as Power BI and ControlRight to help stakeholders interpret results quickly.\n\nCollaborate with Tech Leaders and SMEs to clarify requirements, validate outputs, and communicate findings clearly in English.\n\nDocument deliverables, approach, and updates in Confluence (or similar tools), supporting task tracking and team collaboration.\n\nAutomate recurring data routines and workflows using PowerShell or other scripting languages to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.\n\nSupport work aligned to IT audit, compliance, and internal control expectations, including evidence preparation and control-related data requests.\n\nWhat you need to have to succeed in this role\nHands-on experience with Databricks or a similar cloud-based data platform.\n\nSolid knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data extraction and manipulation, particularly with relational databases.\n\nProven ability to work efficiently with existing queries/scripts, plus the capability to write custom queries and data scripts from scratch.\n\nStrong analytical thinking, with the ability to structure and prepare reliable, consistent data inputs for auditors and control owners.\n\nFamiliarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, ControlRight).\n\nStrong communication skills in English, with experience supporting Tech Leaders and SMEs and explaining technical outputs clearly.\n\nFamiliarity with Confluence (or similar collaboration tools) for documentation, task
