Are you passionate about quality, governance, and ensuring engineering work is delivered to the highest standards?

We're looking for a Process Control Authority (PCA) to support engineering teams within a highly regulated aerospace environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in engineering governance, quality assurance, process compliance, or technical assurance who thrives on driving consistency, traceability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the focal point for engineering process governance, ensuring approved procedures, standards, and work instructions are consistently applied.
  • Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal processes, and quality expectations.
  • Verify that all required checks, reviews, approvals, and supporting evidence have been completed and appropriately recorded.
  • Support delegated authority and signatory governance activities, ensuring competence requirements and approval processes are maintained.
  • Coordinate and support internal audits, customer reviews, quality assessments, and compliance activities.
  • Identify process risks, compliance gaps, and non-conformances, driving corrective and preventive actions where required.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to engineers, technical leads, and project teams on process compliance and best practice.
  • Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned, standardisation, and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and project stakeholders to maintain audit readiness and delivery excellence.

Required Skills:

  • Technical & Process Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of engineering lifecycles, governance frameworks, and controlled processes.
  • Experience in quality assurance, process compliance, or technical assurance environments.
  • Knowledge of configuration management, document control, and evidence management.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, and quality management activities.
  • Ability to manage risks, issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards such as SABRe, AS13100, or airworthiness requirements is highly desirable.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and challenge constructively at all levels.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
