development, integration, and validation of advanced electrical and electronic (E/E) systems for automotive applications.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in systems engineering, requirements development, or verification and validation (V&V) within the automotive industry.\nDepending on the candidate's background and project needs, the engineer will focus on defining and managing system requirements, ensuring proper integration of electrical systems, or performing system-level validation to ensure compliance with customer specifications, performance targets, and industry standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSystems Requirements Engineering\nDevelop, analyze, document, and maintain electrical and electronic system requirements throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.\nTranslate customer needs, vehicle-level features, and functional objectives into clear, measurable, and testable system requirements.\nCollaborate with hardware, software, electrical architecture, and vehicle integration teams to ensure proper requirements allocation and traceability.\nConduct requirements reviews to ensure completeness, consistency, feasibility, and compliance with OEM standards.\nSupport the definition of system interfaces, functional specifications, and electrical architecture.\nMaintain requirements traceability from customer and vehicle-level specifications through system and subsystem requirements.\nPerform impact analyses and support engineering change management activities.\nUtilize requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS, DOORS Next, Polarion, or Jama.\nSupport the development of verification criteria, test specifications, and acceptance requirements.\nSystems Verification & Validation\nDevelop and execute validation strategies, test plans, and test procedures for automotive electrical and electronic systems.\nPerform system-level functional testing to verify compliance with engineering requirements and OEM specifications.\nSupport validation activities across bench testing, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and vehicle-level environments.\nAnalyze system behavior, identify defects, and investigate electrical or communication-related issues.\nPerform testing and troubleshooting of automotive communication networks, including CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.\nUtilize diagnostic tools and equipment to monitor signals, analyze communication messages, and evaluate system performance.\nDocument test results, generate validation reports, and track issues through resolution.\nCollaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.\nEnsure bidirectional traceability between system requirements, verification procedures, and validation results.\nSupport system integration, regression testing, and release readiness activities.\nCross-Functional Engineering Support\nWork closely with OEM engineering teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.\nParticipate in technical design reviews, requirements reviews, and engineering problem-solving activities.\nSupport compliance with automotive development processes, quality standards, and engineering best practices.\nContribute to continuous improvements in requirements management, testing methodologies, and system development processes.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n 3+ years of experience in automotive electrical/electronic systems engineering, requirements engineering, systems integration, or verification and validation.\nUnderstanding of automotive E/E architectures, electronic control units (ECUs), and vehicle electrical systems.\nExperience in at least one of the following:\nDeveloping and managing system-level requirements.\nCreating and executing system-level verification and validation procedures.\nFamiliarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet.\nUnderstanding of systems engineering principles, including the V-model development process.\nExperience interpreting technical specifications, engineering requirements, and electrical system documentation.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working directly with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.\nKnowledge of automotive systems such as body electronics, powertrain, chassis, ADAS, infotainment, or vehicle connectivity.\nExperience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS, DOORS Next, Polarion, or Jama.\nExperience with automotive testing and diagnostic tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy, INCA, or similar platforms.\nFamiliarity with HIL testing environments such as dSPACE, NI, or Vector VT System.\nUnderstanding of automotive functional safety principles and ISO 26262.\nFamiliarity with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes and systems engineering work products.\nExperience with test automation, scripting, or data analysis using Python, MATLAB, or Simulink.\nKnowledge of electrical schematics, signal analysis, and automotive diagnostic protocols such as UDS.\nExperience working with issue tracking and configuration management tools such as Jira, Git, or similar systems.\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of automotive electrical and electronic systems, combined with hands-on experience in either system requirements engineering or system verification and validation.\nCandidates are not expected to have extensive experience in both disciplines but should understand how requirements definition, system integration, and validation contribute to the overall automotive development lifecycle.\nThe position requires a detail-oriented engineer capable of working in a
