We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.\nLocation: Anderson, SC \nCompensation: $70,000 - $90,000 (Based on Experience)\nDuration: 2-Month Contract with Potential Extensions\nPosition Summary\nAlten Technology is seeking multiple Manufacturing Engineers to support manufacturing and process improvement initiatives at our facility in Anderson, SC. This opportunity is ideal for junior and mid-level engineers with experience in manufacturing operations, assembly processes, and industrial engineering methodologies.\nThe selected candidates will play a key role in improving manufacturing efficiency, standardizing processes, optimizing internal logistics, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a production environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.\nDevelop and implement process standardization initiatives across production operations.\nAnalyze and optimize internal logistics and material flow within the facility.\nCollaborate with production teams to improve assembly processes and reduce bottlenecks.\nConduct workflow analysis, time studies, and process improvement projects.\nApply Industrial Engineering methodologies to identify and implement operational improvements.\nCreate and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing standards.\nSupport root cause investigations and corrective action activities.\nPartner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.\nMonitor production metrics and recommend process enhancements.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience with manufacturing processes and process improvement.\nKnowledge of process standardization and continuous improvement principles.\nExperience supporting assembly operations.\nUnderstanding of internal logistics, material flow, or production planning.\nFamiliarity with Industrial Engineering methodologies such as:Lean Manufacturing\nProcess Mapping\nTime Studies\nContinuous Improvement\nRoot Cause Analysis\nWorkflow Optimization\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nInternship, co-op, or professional experience in manufacturing.\nExperience within automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, or industrial manufacturing environments.\nExposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, genetic information, or pregnancy.\nPlease beware of job seeker scams and see this important notice on our careers page for more information about our recruiting process.\nCompliance Notice: Alten USA is a federal contractor subject to the requirements of the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Executive Order 11246.
