We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.\nAs a Process Quality Engineer you will be responsible for;\nLead the creation and update of Control Plans using inputs such as PFMEA, SOIs, technical drawings, routings, and process standards (AIPI, IPDA) focusing on quality assurance.\nDefine and provide technical inspection criteria for Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 inspections, ensuring alignment with product/process specifications.\nCollaborate with Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) to review, validate, and approve documentation related to control plans and risk analysis.\nIdentify and report Key Characteristics (KCs) and Critical to Inspection (CTI) features to ensure traceability and quality focus throughout the process.\nEvaluate the need for and contribute to SARI (Systemic or Administrative Risk Indicator) or QSR (Quality Surveillance Report) declarations where applicable.\nEnsure all control plan files are updated, version-controlled, and accessible for audit and operational use.\nSupport continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives across engineering, quality, and production teams.\nQualifications;\nExperience in aerospace, automotive, or highly regulated industries.\nWorking knowledge of APQP, knowledge in IATF 16949, AS9100 is a plus.\nPLM or QMS software experience is a plus.\nSix Sigma Green Belt, ASQ CQE, or equivalent certifications preferred.\n1-3 years of experience preferred\nSalary Range: $66k-$77k\nThe actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience \nMANDATORY FOR ALL REMOTE/HYBRID AND/OR CALIFORNIA, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, HAWAII, COLORADO, MARYLAND, CONNECTICUT, ILLINOIS, MINNESOTA, VERMONT, MASSACHUSETTS, NEVADA, NEW YORK, RHODE ISLAND, WASHINGTON STATE & CINCINNATI, OHIO, JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY, TOLEDO, OHIO BASED ROLES. \nNote: Due to the nature of the work, only US Persons (citizens or permanent residents) need apply for this position. - OPTIONAL \nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, genetic information, or pregnancy.\nPlease beware of job seeker scams and see this important notice on our careers page for more information about our recruiting process.\nCompliance Notice: Alten USA is a federal contractor subject to the requirements of the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Executive Order 11246.
