We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.\nAs Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for;\nDevelop comprehensive verification and validation plans that align with program objectives, system requirements, and customer expectations.\nEstablish verification approaches, success criteria, and compliance methods utilizing testing, analysis, demonstration, and inspection techniques.\nDefine and maintain verification environments, including hardware, software, firmware, and supporting test assets required for execution.\nCreate and manage requirements traceability artifacts, verification matrices, compliance documentation, and supporting evidence packages.\nWork closely with Integration & Test organizations to coordinate system integration, verification execution, and issue resolution activities.Analyze verification results, investigate anomalies, and drive corrective actions to achieve requirement compliance.\nSupport program execution through technical planning, resource estimation, scheduling, and coordination activities.\nBalance engineering priorities to achieve technical objectives while meeting cost, schedule, and program commitments.\nParticipate in design reviews, technical interchange meetings, milestone reviews, and customer-facing discussions.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to engineers on systems engineering processes, requirements management, verification planning, and documentation standards.\nChampion process improvements that enhance engineering quality, consistency, efficiency, and technical rigor.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across systems, software, hardware, and test organizations to support successful program delivery.\nPerform additional systems engineering duties as required.\nQualifications;\nBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.\nMinimum of 5 years of systems engineering experience supporting aerospace, space, defense, or other complex technical programs.\nStrong understanding of systems engineering methodologies and product development lifecycles.\nExperience authoring, managing, and validating system and subsystem requirements.\nKnowledge of requirements traceability, interface management, system integration, and configuration management practices.\nExperience supporting verification, validation, and compliance activities throughout the development lifecycle.\nAbility to translate customer needs, operational concepts, and technical specifications into actionable engineering requirements.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges.\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nProven ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.\nLocations: Candidate must sit out of one of these three sites - Westminster, CO, El Segundo, CA, or Austin, TX\nSalary Range: $130K-$170K\nThe actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience \nNote: Due to the nature of the work, only US Persons (citizens or permanent residents) need apply for this position. \nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, genetic information, or pregnancy.\nPlease beware of job seeker scams and see this important notice on our careers page for more information about our recruiting process.\nCompliance Notice: Alten USA is a federal contractor subject to the requirements of the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Executive Order 11246.
