The role will also support hardware integration into test benches, test-bench maintenance, troubleshooting, and test automation.\nResponsibilities \n\nLead verification efforts for embedded software on target hardware.\n\nBring up, configure, and troubleshoot new hardware on test benches.\n\nMaintain and debug existing test benches and validation environments.\n\nDevelop and enhance test software, tools, and automation scripts.\n\nConvert manual tests into automated tests.\n\nDevelop hardware- and software-based tests from requirements.\n\nParticipate in test-code design and code reviews.\n\nTroubleshoot software, hardware, and test-environment issues.\nRequired Qualifications \n\nBS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (MS preferred)\n\n10+ years of relevant industry experience preferred\n\nExperience testing low-level embedded software\n\nExperience developing hardware- and software-based tests from requirements\n\nExperience converting manual tests into automated tests\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, and test environments\n\nExperience with test scripting and automation\nPreferred Qualifications \nThe following experience is beneficial but is not required:\n\nAutomotive testing experience\n\nExperience with Automotive Ethernet\n\nCAN/CAN-FD, LIN\n\nISO-14229 diagnostic standards\n\nVector CANoe or similar tools\n\nJenkins\n\nGit/GitLab\n\nPython automation\n\nOn-chip debugging tools such as Lauterbach\n\nAutomotive hardware/PCBA-level debugging\n\nVehicle-level testing and debugging\nSalary Range\n\n$170,000 - 180,000\n\nThe actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience \nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, genetic information, or pregnancy.\nPlease beware of job seeker scams and see this important notice on our careers page for more information about our recruiting process.\nCompliance Notice: Alten USA is a federal contractor subject to the requirements of the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Executive Order 11246.
