Invest yourself in the alternative, and join an organization where you progress on merit, where you can speak openly with whoever you are speaking to, and where you will be supported along whichever path you choose to take.\nFind out more about life at Alter Domus at careers.alterdomus.com\nYour responsibilities\nResponsible for core accounting functions for General Partners and Management Companies, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, vendor management, and expense processing\nProcess and post vendor invoices using the internal accounting system, ensuring all invoices are allocated to the correct accounts and business units\nTrace and follow up with approvers to ensure timely approval of vendor invoices\nMaintain and update the vendor invoice approval matrix and audit for correct approvals\nMaintain complete and accurate vendor/supplier records, including payment details and supporting documentation\nVerify and resolve vendor discrepancies\nProcess payments via electronic payment platforms and ensure accurate record-keeping of all payment runP\nPerform bank reconciliations on a regular basis, investigating and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner\nSupport month-end close activities including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations\nAssist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules\nSupport payroll processing and assist with related reconciliations where required\nAssist with year-end close and annual audit preparation, including preparation of supporting schedules and statutory documentation in IFRS, US GAPP or whatever variant is required\nAd hoc projects as assigned\nYour profile\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\n2+ years' experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and management accounts preparation\nExperience working in a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment\nExperience with electronic payment processing and banking platforms\nFamiliarity with payroll processes is an advantage\nExceptional attention to detail\nAbility to analyse financial data and present findings clearly\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels\nProficient in Microsoft Excel;
