The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and managing enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. The role involves working closely with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of the network environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and support enterprise data center network infrastructure.\nDesign, implement, and maintain VMware NSX environments including micro-segmentation and distributed firewall policies.\nConfigure and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies.\nManage firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and security controls.\nSupport data center operations including LAN, WAN,\nKnowledge in Hub-Spoke and spine-leaf architecture\nMonitor network performance, availability, and security incidents.\nPerform root cause analysis for network outages and service degradation.\nImplement high availability solutions such as HSRP, VRRP, dynamic routing, and redundancy mechanisms.\nWork on BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, LACP, and MPLS technologies.\nCoordinate with server, virtualization, cloud, and security teams for infrastructure changes.\nManage load balancers, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions.\nHandle change management, patching, upgrades, and documentation activities.\nEnsure compliance with security standards and operational best practices.\nSupport disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.\nParticipate in 24x7 support or on-call rotation when required.\nRequired Skills\nExperience in data center operations and enterprise networking.\nHands-on experience with Cisco, Dell, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, ISE and WLC devices.\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching concepts.\nExperience with BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLAN, EVPN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP/Port Channel\nExperience with VPN technologies including IPsec and SSL VPN.\nFamiliarity with monitoring and SIEM tools.\nUnderstanding of zero trust and network segmentation concepts.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree or related field.\n5+ years of experience in network engineering and data center operations.\nGood to have VMware NSX certification.\nCisco CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certification preferred.\nExperience in large enterprise or multi-data-center environments.\nExposure to hybrid cloud networking and SDN technologies.\nKnowledge in incident management and change management processes.\nKnowledge of network security best practices and compliance frameworks.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nGood communication and stakeholder management.\nAbility to work in fast-paced production environments.\nStrong documentation and reporting skills.\nTeam collaboration and leadership capabilities.\nWHAT WE OFFER:\nWe are committed to supporting your development, advancing your career, and providing benefits that matter to you.\nOur industry-leading Alter Domus Academy offers six learning zones for every stage of your career, with resources tailored to your ambitions and resources from LinkedIn Learning.\nPay range: Our pay ranges from $60,000 to $105,000+ for this role.
