You will work across our internally developed payments platform and the Kyriba Treasury Management System, leveraging technologies such as Python, React, AWS, and Kubernetes.\nAs a Software Engineer, you will support the design, development, and integration of secure, scalable treasury and payment solutions that enable global payment processing across multiple currencies, banking networks, and jurisdictions.\nYour Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs integrating Kyriba, banking platforms, and internal payment systems.\nBuild scalable backend services using Python and modern user interfaces using React.\nDevelop microservices-based solutions to support treasury and payment processing workflows.\nLead and support Kyriba implementations across Payments, Bank Account Management, Cash Management, and Liquidity Management modules.\nConfigure payment workflows, approval hierarchies, transaction controls, and beneficiary management.\nSupport bank integrations through SWIFT, Host-to-Host, and API-based connectivity.\nDevelop payment dashboards, approval queues, reporting, and payment batching functionality.\nConfigure reconciliation, cash visibility, and bank statement processing workflows.\nManage core treasury data including bank accounts, companies, currencies, and calendars.\nImplement fraud detection controls, alerting mechanisms, and compliance-related workflows.\nEnsure adherence to security standards, regulatory requirements, and role-based access controls.\nParticipate in solution design, requirements analysis, testing, and deployment activities.\nMaintain high code quality through peer reviews, automation, and best engineering practices.\nSupport user training and adoption across global teams.\nYour Profile\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably within payments, treasury, banking, or financial services.\nStrong hands-on experience with Python development.\nProficiency in React or modern JavaScript frameworks.\nExperience building secure and scalable RESTful APIs.\nStrong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and microservices.\nExperience with SQL and database technologies.\nKnowledge of secure SDLC practices and application security principles.\nHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.\nExperience with monitoring, alerting, and incident management tools.\nKnowledge of treasury operations and payment processing workflows.\nExperience integrating treasury, ERP, banking, or fund accounting systems.\nFamiliarity with SWIFT, ISO 20022, XML, and MT payment formats.\nUnderstanding of multi-currency payments, cash management, and banking connectivity.\nKnowledge of regulatory compliance, sanctions screening, and financial controls.\nExperience with automated testing, performance optimization, and CI/CD practices.\nWHAT WE OFFER\nWe are committed to supporting your development, advancing your career, and providing benefits that matter to you.\nOur industry-leading Alter Domus Academy offers six learning zones for every stage of your career, with resources tailored to your ambitions and resources from LinkedIn Learning.\nOur global benefits also include:\nSupport for professional accreditations such as ACCA and study leave \nFlexible arrangements, generous holidays, plus an additional day off for your birthday!\nContinuous mentoring along your career progression \nActive sports, events and social committees across our offices \n24/7 support available from our Employee Assistance Program \nThe opportunity to invest in our growth and success through our Employee Share Plan \nPlus additional local benefits depending on your location \nEquity in every sense of the word:\nWe are in the business of equity, in every sense of the word.
