In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and external manufacturing suppliers to ensure all quality requirements are met. You will drive rapid issue resolution, govern supplier quality performance, and leverage statistical process controls and advanced data analytics to safeguard product quality.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDrives manufacturing ramp of FPGA products, ensuring product quality and reliability compliance across industrial, commercial, automotive, and Aerospace, Defense, & Government (ADG) market segments.\n\nPerforms risk assessments, defines quality and reliability goals, and enables key decisions that affect product quality and reliability.\n\nDrives manufacturing optimization, product quality excursion resolution, and High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) reliability assessments to achieve continuous DPPM improvement.\n\nLeads supplier quality management, ensuring OSAT partners comply with Altera, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100D quality requirements. Defines, monitors, and drives supplier quality KPIs and performance improvements.\n\nLeads cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality incidents and customer issues by driving root-cause analysis and executing robust Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) workflows.\n\nDrives continuous supplier quality improvements and executes initiatives to reduce manufacturing and supplier-related quality incidents.\n\nLeads and executes supplier qualification activities, including Bill of Materials (BOM), package configuration, OSAT qualification, and test site transitions.\n\nLeads supplier quality audits to verify OSAT process compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100D standards, focusing on risk mitigation, traceability, counterfeit prevention, statistical process controls, and CAPA effectiveness.\n\nSupports San Jose (SJ) production test operations by providing quality assurance oversight for production test stand-up activities, test process readiness, and ongoing production test quality maintenance to ensure manufacturing excellence.\n\nSupports San Jose laboratory quality compliance by maintaining laboratory quality systems, including equipment calibration, ESD compliance, environmental controls, and adherence to established quality and safety procedures.\n\nPartners with manufacturing, supplier quality, and operations teams to maintain and continuously improve internal Quality Management System (QMS) processes, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100D, and Aerospace, Defense, and Government (ADG) quality requirements.\n\nMonitors post-launch quality metrics to identify systemic improvement opportunities and establishes a robust closed-loop feedback system, integrating lessons learned into future product architecture and manufacturing processes.\n\nSalary Range\nThe pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based ona number offactors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences,trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based export authorizations.\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.\n\n10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and supplier quality engineering, with a demonstrated track record of optimizing manufacturing workflows and resolving complex silicon, packaging, and product quality issues.\n\n8+ years of experience across the semiconductor product lifecycle, including wafer fabrication, advanced packaging, semiconductor assembly, and automated test equipment (ATE) methodologies.\n\n8+ years of experience applying product reliability physics, failure analysis methodologies, and product qualification stress testing to support semiconductor product development and manufacturing.\n\nISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification and 5+ years of experience working within ISO 9001 quality management systems, with demonstrated knowledge of AS9100D compliance frameworks and international Aerospace, Defense, and Government (ADG) quality requirements.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertified AS9100D Lead Auditor with deep technical knowledge of aerospace quality management requirements, risk-based auditing methodologies, and international aerospace governance expectations.\n\nDemonstrates advanced analytical capabilities to drive data-driven decision making, backed by deep proficiency in statistical analysis tools and methodologies.\n\nExperience leading complex or cross-functional technical initiatives and proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.\n\nJob
