JOB SUMMARY

The Terrain Park Groomer plays a key role in creating and maintaining a safe, creative, and progressive terrain park experience for guests. This position is responsible for grooming and shaping terrain park features and surrounding slopes, operating and performing daily inspections of PistenBully grooming equipment, assisting with the design, construction, and maintenance of jumps, jibs, and other snow features, and collaborating with the grooming team to deliver exceptional park conditions. The ideal candidate has prior snowcat grooming experience, a strong understanding of terrain park operations and feature design, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic mountain environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Maintains and grooms features in the terrain parkand surrounding slopes

  • Operates PB400 and PB600 snowcatsin a safe and efficient manner

  • Maintains fluid levels, performs daily machine inspections, and reports any/all damage to vehicle maintenance

  • Assistsinthebuilding, installation, and transportof terrain park jibs and snow features

  • Completes required hand/rake work around terrain park features when needed

  • Assiststherest of the grooming crew when possible

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLAND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driverslicense

  • Minimum 2 years snow grooming experience

  • Knowledge of terrain park terminology and practices

  • Ability toski/ride terrain park features preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This position is requiredto work eveningsand/or overnight,weekends and holidayswhile in operation.

  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 60pounds on an occasional basis, and a minimum of 20 pounds on a frequent basis.

  • Ability to work for extended periods of time while seated.

  • Manual dexterity to operatehand toolssuch as rakes, shovels, and basic carpentry tools.

  • Ability to workoutsidein ANY AND ALL weatherconditions, including but not limited to rain, snow, sleet, high winds, and cold temperatures.

  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
