The Senior Trainer also mentors instructors, contributes to delivery standards, and collaborates with Customer Success, Professional Services, Learning Experience, Product, and other teams to continuously improve the customer learning experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nTraining Delivery\nDeliver private, public, subscription-based, and cohort-based instructor-led training for global customers.\nFacilitate virtual and onsite courses covering foundational through advanced Alteryx capabilities.\nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear, practical instruction for learners with varying experience levels.\nLead demonstrations, hands-on exercises, guided labs, workshops, office hours, and customer-specific enablement sessions.\nAdapt delivery methods to different audiences, including analysts, business users, administrators, technical professionals, and automation champions.\nMaintain a high standard of learner engagement, customer satisfaction, and instructional quality.\nCustomer Enablement\nPartner with Customer Success Managers and account teams to understand\ncustomer objectives, learner profiles, and adoption priorities.\nRecommend appropriate courses, learning paths, and cohort-based programs based on customer needs and available Education Services entitlements.\nSupport customized training engagements using customer business scenarios, data, and workflows when appropriate.\nIdentify opportunities to help customers utilize available service credits before expiration\nProvide post-training recommendations that support continued learning and product adoption.\nInstructional Quality and Readiness\nMaintain current expertise across Alteryx products, features, certifications, and recommended practices.\nComplete train-the-trainer requirements and delivery readiness activities for new or updated courses.\nReview course materials, workflows, demonstrations, labs, and assessments for technical accuracy and instructional effectiveness\nProvide actionable feedback to curriculum developers and Learning Experience teams\nSupport pilot deliveries and the launch of new Education Services offerings.\nLeadership and Collaboration\n\nMentor instructors and delivery partners through coaching, observation, feedback, and knowledge sharing.\nModel effective facilitation techniques and establish consistent delivery practicesacross regions.\nSupport instructor onboarding, technical readiness, and train-the-trainer programs.\nCollaborate with internal teams to resolve scheduling, technology, content, andlearner-experience issues.\nRepresent Education Services in cross-functional initiatives related to customerenablement and product adoption.\nOperational Excellence\nMaintain accurate training schedules, attendance records, timecards, resourcerequests, utilization data, and delivery documentation.\nEnsure training engagements are aligned with the appropriate customer project andentitlement structure.\nCapture learner feedback and use satisfaction data to identify opportunities for improvement.\nProactively communicate delivery risks, platform issues, content gaps, and customer concerns.\nSupport capacity planning and efficient utilization of internal and partner instructors.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.\nSignificant experience delivering technical, software, data analytics, or enterprise technology training.\nStrong working knowledge of Alteryx Designer and the broader Alteryx platform.\nDemonstrated ability to facilitate engaging virtual and in-person learning experiences.\nExperience teaching audiences with different technical backgrounds and skill levels Strong presentation, communication, facilitation, and classroom-management skills.\nAbility to troubleshoot technical and learning-environment issues during live training.\nStrong customer orientation with a record of delivering high-quality learning experiences.\nAbility to manage multiple training engagements, priorities, and stakeholders.\nWillingness to travel for customer-facing training and internal events as required.\nAbility to support training across global time zones when needed.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAlteryx certifications, including Designer Core and Designer Advanced.\nExperience with Alteryx One, cloud analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, or machine-learning concepts.\nExperience developing or customizing technical learning content.\nExperience delivering cohort-based learning programs, train-the-trainer sessions, or certification preparation.\nFamiliarity with learning-management systems, virtual training platforms, and customer-success practices.\nExperience mentoring instructors
