Alteryx One connects data, governed business logic, and AI-driven insights and actions in a scalable platform.\nWe are looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager (P5) to lead the company's most strategic platform and trust transformation initiatives that drive business critical metrics. This role drives execution across multiple engineering organizations while influencing technical strategy, operating models, and organizational priorities that enable the long-term evolution of the Alteryx platform.\nAs a Staff TPM, you will partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, SRE, and executive leadership to align investment strategy, resolve cross-organizational dependencies, establish scalable delivery mechanisms, and improve engineering effectiveness across the platform.\nThis role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise, exceptional program leadership, systems thinking, and executive influence to solve ambiguous, enterprise-scale challenges.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the strategy and execution of the company's highest-priority platform and trust initiatives spanning multiple engineering organizations.\nInfluence technical direction by partnering with architecture and engineering leaders to align long-term platform investments with business strategy.\nDrive portfolio-level planning, sequencing, and prioritization across multiple concurrent programs while balancing engineering capacity, customer commitments, and strategic objectives.\nEstablish operating mechanisms that improve organizational planning, dependency management, decision making, and execution predictability.\nLead executive governance forums, quarterly planning, investment reviews, and cross-functional decision-making.\nAnticipate organizational risks before they become delivery issues and proactively drive mitigation strategies.\nImprove engineering effectiveness through scalable program management practices, metrics, automation, AI-assisted workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCoach and mentor Senior TPMs while establishing standards and best practices for technical program management across the organization.\nRequired Qualifications\nDemonstrated success leading enterprise-scale technical programs across multiple engineering organizations.\nProven ability to influence architecture, organizational priorities, and executive decision making without direct authority.\nDeep understanding of cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, infrastructure, security, identity, observability, and modern software architecture.\nExperience managing multi-year technology transformation initiatives involving complex organizational dependencies.\nExceptional executive communication skills with experience presenting to VP and C-level audiences.\nStrong business acumen with the ability to connect technical investments to measurable customer and business outcomes.\nExpertise establishing program governance, delivery metrics, portfolio reporting, and organizational operating mechanisms.\nExperience leveraging AI to improve engineering planning, execution, communication, and operational efficiency.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience leading platform modernization or cloud transformation initiatives.\nExperience building or scaling TPM organizations.\nExperience developing engineering operating models.\nEnterprise SaaS, AI platform, analytics platform, or cloud infrastructure experience.\nExperience supporting mergers, platform integrations, or large-scale technical transformations.\nPMP, SAFe, Scrum, AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.\nFind yourself checking a lot of these boxes but doubting whether you should apply?
